feminitiv (2021)

The installation feminitiv centers around the statue of Diana in the Schlosspark Eggenberg in Graz. Known as the goddess of the hunt, Diana was also revered as the protector of women and girls. In the installation, she takes on the role of the woman Diana, grappling with the pitfalls of a patriarchal society, and at other times, she fights as the goddess Diana for the creation of identities beyond male interpretation. Through symbolism and content, the work opens up a multidimensional space for viewers, offering various attitudes, thought approaches, and visions for the future. The audiovisual installation feminitiv underscores the ambivalences of our present and the hopes for the future.
